Responsibilities
- Managing incoming calls from customers related to their insurance policies with the goal retaining each and every account
- Managing incoming calls from prospects looking for insurance options with goal of adding customers, households and policies
- Assisting customers with their inquiries about policy details, claims, premiums, and more
- Processing policy changes, updates, and cancellations as per the client’s request
- Explaining the different types of insurance policies and coverage to customers
- Identifying and assessing customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
- Resolving product or service problems by clarifying the customer’s complaint, determining the cause of the problem, selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem, and following up to ensure resolution
- Maintaining records of customer interactions, processing customer accounts, and filing documents
- Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Up-selling and cross-selling insurance products and services to existing customers based on their needs
- Achieve sales goals through generating new business and cross-selling existing customers
- Serve your local community by helping them prepare for life’s uncertainties
Job Qualifications
- Property & Casualty License
- Strong interest in a sales career – sales experience preferred
- Strong customer service and relationship building skills
- Minimum of 1 year insurance experience
- Confident, motivated and goal oriented individual who works well independently
- Able to multi-task, follow through, and follow-up
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
